My life with Fibromyalgia!

Mar 19, 2016

Hi there,

I was in a bad relationship at the end of 2011 where it was controlling and had turned abusive. By 2012 I was living in a 1 bed flat with hardly any money and on my own,  a bit of a come down from living in the countryside with a 2 bed cottage. I lost my job, a well paid job, I had to find something quick so I went into the care industry looking after elderly with dementia. Within two months of working there I had a client die on me and I had to lay them out....hardest thing I've ever seen and done. Then I got signed off with depression this was May 2012 I seen three different doctors two of which said it was still depression and one who asked if I had been bite by a tick! The final doctor I seen was the one who said "I think you have fibromyalgia" I asked her if I could have that in English!  After months and months I finally got to see the rhuematologist at sailsbury hospital. He also order me to fill 10 tubes of blood for him to do his tests with. Hate blood being taken. Then in the September 2012 I was officially diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.

It makes you feel weak, tired, sleepy and feel like you have nothing to live for. I've recently changed jobs which after 4 years on and off I am finally happy with the change I've made my life better I have found the perfect man who is living and supportive of my illness.
