Alicia McDonell - FD story so far

Hi all,

I am 38 years old and have 2 boys 7 and 9. Separated 3.5 years ago and happy as.

I began to have headaches and dizziness in mid July this year, 2015 and after no avail had a CT scan then a quick follow up MRI to find Fibrous Dysplasia of the Sphenoid Bone, middle and left side in my skull.

After the initial shock, I worked with my Neurologist to figure out what to do next. My scans say I have a slight impingement of the left Maxillary Nerve. My Neurologist prescribed and we tried many different needs to try to control my headache and nothing worked. I was then advised by a beautiful friend found through the Aust FD page that an Endocrinologist in Melbourne had studied up on the disease and was worth a visit. 
I caught the bus for 4 hours to Sydney then a plane to Melbourne to see the Professor
