my life as a Marfan sufferer

i was admitted to hospital after suffering a Heart Attack at the age of 57 years of age,next morning a consulting surgeon came in to see me,and asked if anyone in my family had Marfans syndrome,something i had never heard of before,so he asked me,if anyone had heart prolems in my family,which i replies yes,my Granfather,my father,and mother all passed away formthese attacks,then He informed me to see a genetic doctor who examined me and confirmed the results me with me of his findings,that i Have Marfans Syndrome.So i contacted the Marfans Foundation which i found the email address online to send me information,which i was really greatful for.i work,as a security officer,and fireman which hasnt hindered my Marfans at all,but still need to take it easy.My view with having Marfans,is to cherish every living moment you have,and be greatfully for it,
