It is my wife that has this dreadful disease. I am her caregiver, with assistance from a couple of friends and our son. It is the most devastating thing I have ever seen. It is terrible, with no good outcome. I have seen her go from the "neighborhood helper" to being Wheelchair & Bed ridden. She has a hard time doing anything, but gives it her best all day long. I love her so much and it is devastating to see her wither away. It amazes me how she continues to smile and make people laugh. I am so lucky to have a woman like this love me.
