Story about Multiple Systems Atrophy .

Undiagnosed

Mar 21, 2016

By: Roy

My dad, Roy has undiagnosed atrophy. He has numbness in legs and feet. It spread to his toes also. He gave up long distance running. Now he tries to work out at gym. He walks Very slowly. He fell by his house recently. I am moving closer to him to help out. My mom needs more support for taking care of him. He has been to several doctors in Houston, Baylor and UT San Antonio. None of the doctors understood atrophy. Hopefully Dr Tobon can help him. They found spot on his cerebellum. He had a fall while playing basketball in high school. Maybe that fall caused damage to his brain.
