How did all start?

Irregular periods and signs of hirsutism

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

It took six years to get a diagnosis, and I was diagnosed on 30/05/2018

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

I have had no treatment and have been told only to see the GP when I want to start trying to conceive. However, I will now be tested for diabetes once a year.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Irregular and painful periods, and hirsutism.

What do you think about the future?

I’m concerned about my fertility and my ability to conceive without medical or surgical intervention.
