Story about Small Fiber Neuropathy .

7 years and counting

Dec 17, 2015

In 2009, my toes and plantar area of my feet began going numb. About a year after, I knew I had some sort of neuropathy, but it took until August of 2015 to get the final biopsy done to confirm small fiber neuropathy.

Since April, 2015, my diet has changed due to loss of interest in eating and a change in my diet to not eat certain foods that contribute to diabetes. While not diabetic, I'm looking for answers to help in any way alleviate the pain and sleepless nights. I've had bouts of extreme pain from other surgeries, not related, and this pain is not at that level. That said, it is the unrelenting progression and constancy of the pain that has worn me down.

Still hoping and praying there's a solution, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
