Story about Tarlov Cyst .

Tarlov Cyst Disease

May 8, 2017

By: Susan

I have 8 Tarlov Cysts along my thoracic spine. I do not have them in my sacrum, unlike most others who have this disease. Finding treatment is nearly impossible as most of the medical community are unaware of what these cysts are or they deny that the cysts cause pain. I believe that mine are genetic because I've had no accidents that would've caused these to appear on my spine. I wish more Doctors would acknowledge and treat this rare disease. It's truly debilitating!
