This doesn’t have a currently known cause or cure. I wrote the Wikipedia page, putting everything in that I could find after solid weeks of searching, and I’m good at searching, but it wasn’t much. It appears to be autoimmune, and can be kept under control by strict pacing and stopping immediately you get pain. It’s frustrating as sitting still you can feel fine, until you get up! It’s like being a voodoo doll, and in another time I would probably be considered possessed by a demon ;)
