It started with a bite!

Year Condition Began: 2004

I had a massive reaction to some bad mosquito bites on holiday where I got eaten alive in Italy. I was left with some numb patches which my GP dismissed. A few years later, I suddenly realised my finger was numb in a small area. Suddenly I was whisked off for tests, and MRI scans etc, and left with the diagnosis of Wartenbergs Migratory Sensory Neuropathy, but very little information at all. I found a few papers by joining the British Library, and summarised my weeks of research on Wikipedia. Since deleted by the wiki nazis for leaving out inverted commas on the quites ffs. Anyway, It rapidly progressed, and I would get pain, parasthesias etc, but these days is much more under control. I cant do too much, especially stretching, and have to avoid heat, bug bites and other allergens as much as I can, but with this and acupuncture I generally only get a few spikes a day, and rarely get a severe reaction longer term.
