It started with getting diagnosed with Hashimotos at 13 years old. Symptoms continued to progress, especially ulcers. I was then diagnosed with Behcets at age 14 in San Diego, CA by Dr. Robert Sheets at Radys Children's Hospital. Have tried almost all medications. Constantly was in and out of hospitals from age 15 to age 17. Then around 18 years old I was put on rhemicaid/infliximab for about 2 1/2 years and was doing great but it recently stopped working for me this past December (2015) while residing in Miami, FL. I am now in North Carolina being see at Duke Univeristy trying to find a better solution.
