I've been living as a diagnosed patient of Behcet' Syndrome since I was in the 8th grade, which now makes it 8 years at the end of August. I've dealt with everything from mouth ulcers very regularly, genital ulcers, joint pain, and blurred vision. A chronic illness to some people may seem like a life sentence, but by living one day at a time and enjoying life to the fullest makes it easier to be happy and get through life when it may suck. I'm also blessed with an AMAZING rheumatologist, Dr. Birmingham.
