I started with symptoms at age 17. Doctors would blame it on hormones and blow it off. I finally asked my nurse practitioner to refer me to a rheumatoligist. She did and I was tested for Sjogren's. My bloodwork seems to show Lupus also, but I do not have an official diagnosis for that, as the doctor only mentioned Sjogren's. I am anti prescription drugs if you can help it. One day I may have to go to prescriptions. I have not seen a medical doctor for my Sjogren's since I was diagnosised 3 years ago. I have seen a holistic doctor and received some help from him, but he was too expensive to continue to see him. I manage my symptoms on my own with diet and supplements.
