Sexual stimulation is numb, itchy, or painful

I tried masturbating when I was 15 years old. It was kind of boring, as it went from ok to numb to itchy, and then I had a climax that was painful. I thought maybe that was a one time thing, so I tried everything under the sun to get a different result (toys, positions, experiences, drugs, etc.) but nothing changed. I am now 30 and extremely frustrated.

In 2017, I saw Dr. Goldstein at San Diego Sexual medicine and he said I probably have clitoral adhesions and Tarlov cysts. He checked and I did have clitoral adhesions, which he removed. Shortly after, I had an MRI, which confirmed two small Tarlov cysts (less than 6mm each) on S2 and S3. I am having diagnostic nerve block injections soon, and if that goes well, I will eventually have surgery to drain the cysts and sew them shut.
